Along with celebrating with all our Alumni Members, we are recognizing the 50th Anniversary for the Class of 1975 this year! Please come to hear about Alumni initiatives, activities and events while renewing friendships and catching up with classmates.
Tickets will be available for purchase on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Alumni Members are encouraged to bring guests or a support person with them to the Luncheon and Dinner!
Ticket Prices
Ordering Information if you are an Honorary Life Member
If you are an honorary life member of the Association, you are entitled to one free meal ticket. You will receive an email from the Alumni President, Gillian Toth and all ticket information will be conducted separately from the methods described below.

Luncheon and Dinner tickets may be purchased in advance by using our registration platform. We encourage you to consider registration using our new system to decrease administrative burden.
Ordering information for Electronic Tickets
1. Go to the WGH/HSC Alumni Website and click on the Homecoming tab. When the Homecoming page opens, there is a Black box/Button at the top of page to click on to open the order form.
2. Tickets may be purchased by using a credit card of choice (Visa; Mastercard; American Express; Union Pay).
3. Your ticket will be emailed to you and can be printed at home or saved digitally on your Smartphone, for viewing at the Homecoming events.
4. A new option exists this year to make a donation to the Nurses’ Alumni Association if interested. This is not an expectation but may be of interest to those who cannot attend but wish to contribute in some way. Please note that as we are not a registered charity it is not possible to issue a receipt for income tax purposes.
5. The platform we are using for registration is called Zeffy. Zeffy is a Canadian company, available for not-for-profit organizations completely free of charge. There are no licensing fees and no credit-card processing fees. The business model of Zeffy relies on donations from users who buy tickets through their platform. At the end of the check-out you will be prompted to make a donation to Zeffy. At check-out the amount of donation to Zeffy is automatically set to 15%, however you are able to donate any amount or may choose to not donate at all. Simply use the down arrow and use an alternate pre-set % amount or select "Other" and enter the dollar amount you wish to donate. If you do not wish to donate to Zeffy at all please enter 0.0
6. There is no obligation on the part of our alumni members to donate to Zeffy, this is entirely a personal choice.
7. Class representatives are able to order multiple tickets for their classmates. However please note the instructions when you are prompted to enter allergy information.
Ordering Information using Canada Post to Receive your Ticket
1. Please make a cheque or money order payable to:
WGH/HSC Nurses’ Alumni Association
2. Please include with your payment the
following information:
* Your full mailing address
* Your telephone number
* If you have any food allergies or a special diet
order eg. Gluten Free. Last minute requests at the time
of the Homecoming will result in additional charges to
the person requesting the change and/or may not be
able to be accommodated at all.
* If you require any special seating accommodation
* The Year of your Graduating Class, including
noting if you are an A or B class (if applicable)
* Whether you are a member of one of the
following Chapters: Okanagan; Calgary; Edmonton
* The number of tickets you wish to purchase
(guests and support persons are welcome but must
pay for their meal).
If you are a Class Representative ordering for classmates, please provide the above noted information for each person you are purchasing a ticket for.
3. Please mail your request including an enclosed stamped, self-addressed envelope to the address of Trish Bergal: 78 St. Albans Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3Y 1W9.
4. Your order will be processed and your tickets returned to you in the envelope you provided.
Ordering Information for In-Person Pick Up
1. Please email Trish Bergal at tbergal@shaw.ca with the following information:
If you are a Class Representative ordering for classmates, please provide the above noted information for each person you are purchasing a ticket for.
2. Arrange a date and time for ticket pick up with Trish.
3. On ticket pick-up please pay with a cheque made out to WGH/HSC Nurses’ Alumni Association.
4. Cash payment is not accepted.
Deadline for ticket orders
The deadline for receiving the order for tickets by any method is Friday May 17 at 1600 hrs
The Alumni recognizes that unexpected circumstances can arise that prevent a member from attending the event, after a ticket has been purchased. Please be aware that we are unable to provide refunds once the tickets are purchased.

Alumni members are all welcome to stay and use the time following the lecture to renew friendships and “catch up” with classmates in the banquet room until 1500 hrs.

The Alumni is very proud of our heritage and the executive encourages all Alumni members to support the Archives as an active part of Homecoming. Reunion classes are encouraged to plan and book a tour. If you would like to visit the Archives as a group during the Homecoming, please discuss with your class representative so a visit/tour of the Archives can be arranged. Please note that we now have a wheelchair entrance to the Alumni/Archives/Museum Room.

ACCOMMODATION
The Alumni Association arranges with Canad Inns Destination Center Polo Park the holding of rooms and a special rate for alumni members.
The rate for 2025 is $139.00/night and the block rate applies to the dates of May 28, May 29, May 30, 2025. The Reservation Code is 724814.
Reservations can be made by calling the Canad Inns Destination Center Polo Park at 204-775-8791, and press “0” to speak to a Guest Service Agent or by calling their
Central Reservations at 1-888-33-CANAD.
The group block will be available until 30 days prior to arrival, which is April 28, 2025.
HOSPITALITY ROOMS
Please book your own hospitality/party room at Canad Inns Destination Center Polo Park. To save your class money, alumni members are reminded that we have the whole dining room available after dinner until 11 pm.
